The FBI took down a series of servers last year that were handling internet traffic maliciously redirected by a widespread computer virus. “ “ They realized that so many computers were infected, they needed to substitute clean servers for the traffic.“ On Monday July 9th, they are taking down the substitute servers.“ Computers still unknowingly infected with the virus will no longer connect with the internet.
