Squam Lakes Natural Science Center brings guest of a different stripe!

Naturalist presenter Jeremy Phillips of the Squam Lakes Natural Science Center in Holderness, NH helped close our 2012 Summer Reading Program: Dream Big-Read!  with a program on Creatures of the Night.  Everyone was wide awake when the guest pictured here made his appearance.  Audience members learned about the adaptations nocturnal animals use to inhabit their night time world.  Thanks to everyone who participated in this year’s Summer Reading Program!  We had record numbers of readers and our usual assortment of extraordinary programming sponsored by the Friends of the Rye Public Library and brought to you by our equally extraordinary Youth Department Staff!
