I find the slide show of books distracting. All I want is to find what I’m looking for – liked the old format better. But then, what would you expect from an old fogey, lol?
Thanks for the comments Leslie. Each of the book images is a clickable link to it’s catalog record. The sort we are currently running is new books received within six months, so the titles in the Book River are similar to the very popular new release display area in the Library. If you click on one, you see its status and details. You can certainly go directly to the search box though and narrow in to exactly what you are looking for.
