Thanks Runner-Readers!

The first Running and Reading book discussion group at Rye Public Library finished last week and capped off the experience with the Great Island 5K road race on Sunday Oct. 7.  The image in this post is a Wordle diagram built with the text responses to a feedback survey about the program distributed at our final meeting.  I think both the book and the program kept the group happy judging by comments.  The program also got some great press:  see Rob Levey’s article.  The race day couldn’t have offered better weather for a fall foot race in Seacoast New England!  Thanks to all who took part in this inaugural session, and watch for future active reading and themed reading discussion groups here at RPL!
