Great Grains; Let’s Eat! with Chef Oonagh Williams Thurs. May 11 at 6:30pm

Renowned Chef Oonagh Williams brings her delicious, entertaining and informative presentation, “Great Grains:  Let’s Eat!” to the Rye Public Library on Thursday, May 11 from 6:30-7:30.  Chef Oonagh will explain what great grains are, why they are good for us and how to cook with them.  See and smell amaranth, millet, sorghum and teff and learn how you can use them in cooking aa well as the nutritional benefits of each.

Join us to sample Chef Oonagh’s signature gluten free, made-from-scratch, almond cake.  She will also create a simple summer salad with quinoa, summer vegetables and lemon herb vinaigrette for all to eat.  Recipes for both will be given to all participants.
