Strategic Planning Goals Committee (August 2010-February 2011)
Beginning in August 2010, a small committee was formed to design the 2011-12 Rye Public Library Strategic Planning process. Representatives of Rye Public Library Trustees, Staff and the Rye community comprised this guiding committee charged to work with the Rye Public Library Trustees to help derive the outcomes most useful in undertaking a new planning project for the Library. The planning process was discussed, designed and outlined by the Planning Goals Committee. The agendas and minutes from those preliminary design meetings are available below:

Strategic Planning Committee (February 2011-Present)
A larger group of participants was invited to join the design committee and continue with the planning process from February 2011 through completion. Beginning with an orientation meeting in February, the original guiding committee was joined by more community members to provide a wide perspective to the project. Nearly twenty -five individuals including parents, teachers, students, and a broad representation of the Rye demographic have worked together to conduct the planning process through 2011 and forward. The Rye Public Library Strategic Planning Committee is charged to work in advisement to the Rye Public Library Trustees in helping undertake the many aspects of developing a Three Year Strategic Plan for the Rye Public Library.
