School Early Release Day Program Wednesday April 8th

SchooMaleficentl has Early Release on  Wednesday April 8th. We will be showing a movie in the Community Room. The Wednesday movie we usually show for adults has been selected for the early release so that our youth can attend. Join us for popcorn, juice, and a movie!! Shows begin promptly at 1:00 P.M. Today’s movie is rated PG and runs for 97 minutes.

This film explores the untold story of Disney’s most iconic villain from the classic Sleeping Beauty and elements of her betrayal that ultimately turn her pure heart to stone.She cruelly places an irrevocable curse upon the human king’s newborn infant Aurora. She realizes that Aurora may hold the key to peace in the land and is forced to take drastic actions that will change both worlds forever. Stars Angelina Jolie and Elle Fanning.

Crafternoons: New Date February 3

bookmark craftOur “Crafternoons” program that had been scheduled for  Tuesday January 27th  has been rescheduled to Tuesday February 3rd. We will meet from 3:00- 4:00 PM. Join us for a fun elementary – aged craft program.

We’re making this Bookmark! This activity is recommended for age 8+. There will be basic sewing on this project. Sign-up is required. Space is limited and this program fills up fast!

The Wednesday movie we usually show for adults has been selected for the early release so that our youth can attend. This movie is rated PG and runs for 98 minutes and begins at 1:00PM.

Based on William Goldman’s novel, this film is staged as a book read by a grandfather (Peter Falk) to his ill grandson (Fred Savage). Falk’s character assures a romance-weary Savage that the book has much more to deliver than a simpering love story, including but not limited to fencing, fighting, torture, death, true love, giants, and pirates.
