Dumbledore’s Army – Harry Potter Club December 6th

Dumbledore’s Army next meets on Tuesday December 6th from 6:00 to 7:30PM. We meet on the first Tuesday of  the month. All Ages are welcome!

This once-a-month group meets in the room of requirement to do Harry Potter-related crafts, eat HP-related foods, watch movies, discuss books, do read-alouds, have trivia nights, read and/or write fan-fic…whatever we can think up related to the Wizarding World!  I assure you, it is a blast! Tonight we are making Hogwarts- themed holiday crafts!

Parents, please remember, only children aged 8+ may be left in the library without supervision. Please call the library if you have any questions.

Turn the Page Cafe–After School Snack rescheduled to November 2

“Turn the Page Cafe”: our newest program! We’re making easy snacks for Teens — delicious snacking and snack-making!   The event scheduled for Tuesday November 1st  has been rescheduled to Wednesday November 2nd. We meet from 3:00 to 4:00PM and we will be making apple quesadillas. If you like to cook (or eat), this is for you! The next scheduled event will be Wednesday November 9th.

Family Pumpkin Carving October 26th

Join us Wednesday October 26th from 5:30 to 7:3jack o lantern0 PM  for our annual pumpkin carving- bring your own pumpkin to carve or decorate! We’ll have some carving tools on hand you may borrow, and we’ll supply some decorating materials for those who won’t be carving.  This is a fun event for the whole family!

Crazy 8s Math Club Season 2 New session

Math Gone WCrazy 8s Logoild!!! Crazy 8s Math Club for Grades K-2 will meet Mondays, 3:15 to 4:15 PM for 8 weeks starting September 26th. (No meeting on October 10th)

This is a SUPER FUN math club; please sign-up and plan to attend all 8 weeks.  Continuity is key to having a fun experience with math.  Limited spaces are available. CALL TO SIGN UP NOW!!!

School Early Release Day Program Wednesday September 28th

walking-tacojungle bookSchool has Early Release on  Wednesday September 28th. We will be showing the movie  The Jungle Book in the Community Room. The Wednesday movie we usually show for adults has been selected for the early release so that our youth can attend. This movie is rated PG*, runs for 106 minutes & begins at 1:00PM.

In addition to the movie, Lisa will hold a Teen craft event from 1:00-2:00PM. This will be drop-in. This will be a cooking class – Easy To Make Snacks for Teens (Walking Tacos, etc.).
