Youth Beading

Lisa will be holding a beading craft class for grade 5+ and up on Wednesdays, May 24th and 31st from 3:00 – 5:00pm.

This gorgeous sewn bead bracelet looks difficult to make, but actually, once a few steps are learned, it’s sheer repetition and creativity with color.  It’s called a “3-drop peyote stitch” and once learned, the possibilities for design are endless!
Over four or five sessions – depending on the beaders – we will be learning how to make the bracelet! For the patrons already participating, these are continuing sessions.  Interested new members may still join in, just let us know!   All supplies are provided by the library.  Just show up ready to learn!

Sign-up is REQUIRED (so I have enough supplies for everyone – thanks!)  Please call the library if you have any questions.
