Ramblin’ Richard: Songs and Stories from WWI, One Hundred Years Later
It was known as “the Great War,” “The War to end all Wars,” and 100 years after the United States sent “Doughboys” to Europe we remember the songs and stories from this time. Many of the songs have remained beloved to this day, including: “When Irish Eyes are Smiling,” “Pretty Baby,” and “McNamara’s Band.”
Join us for this special program, co-sponsored by the Rye Historical Society, with stories and music by Richard Kruppa, known musically as “Ramblin’ Richard.”
