On Zoom: People with Kids: Parenting Group
PEOPLE WITH KIDS: A NEW TAKE ON RAISING SMALL PEOPLE
Meets the second Tuesday of every month. NOW ON ZOOM.
People with Kids: A New Take on Raising Small People” is an open-minded space for discussing what life is like being a parent, guardian, caretaker, grandparent, aunt, uncle and everyone in between.
When was the last time someone asked you “how are YOU?” not, “how is it being a mom? is your child walking? sleeping through the night? being a teenager?” We hope to talk about the adult experience of raising small people and finding ourselves in these shoes.
This is a great group for new moms and dads, caretakers looking for support, and adults hoping to gain insight on the challenge of raising children. We will focus on all age-ranges.
Some topics will include the positives and negatives of social media influence, challenges with different age-ranges, diversity, how to engage with your child, community resources and maybe even a guest speaker or two! If you are interested, please sign-up below.
All are welcome in this group. This is a judgement-free zone where we will cultivate a safe space for sharing.
Infants are welcome. Breast-feeding, bottle-feeding, diaper changes, and standing while rocking babies is encouraged.
