All Rye residents, taxpayers, and permanent employees of Rye, New Hampshire are eligible for a library card at no cost. Non-residents may obtain a card for $60/year.
All residents who are registering for a library card for the first time receive a Rye Public Library tote bag filled with important community information.
At the end of each school year all kindergarten students are invited to a special gathering in the children’s room to obtain their first library card. Children six years of age and older are encouraged to come in at any time accompanied by a parent to receive a library card.
